Background
Almost 99% of HHs were reported as damaged.More than 87,000 HHs received CGI or Cash distributions. The Nepali government distributed NPR 15,000 to totally damaged HHs.
Nuwakot has benefited from efficient coordination between local government and relief agencies.
Current Situation
OXFAM has completed distribution of full package of winter kit to 2,557 HHs of 4 VDCs. German GIZ has also completed distribution of blanket, mattress and solar lamp to 1,075 HHs in different VDCs. Similarly, ACF has completed distributing voucher (worth NPR 5,000) to 1,450 HHs of Charghare.
NRCS has completed with the distribution of NPR 10,000 to 3,856 HHs in 4 VDCs- Lachhyang,
Kahule, Urleni and Bhalche.
