Background
Dhading is one of the highly affected districts by the earthquake according to the number of damaged households. Although Dhading was poorly covered by emergency shelter relief (only 58% of the affected households received a tarpaulin or a tent), the distribution of CGI or its equivalent in cash (15,000 NPRs, mostly by the government) reached more than 90% of the affected population.
Current Situation
Distribution of Blankets and other winter items has been completed in 9541 HHS.
Distribution of winter kit by OXFAM, DCA and Save the Children to 8434 HHs is ongoing. It is supposed to be completed by the end of December.
Regarding the confirmed plan of various agencies, 12540 HHs will be assisted by either voucher, in kind or cash in coming week.
